Here is the Greek Mythology & Legend Dictionary
Bellerophon: A hero who slew the Chimera with the aid of Pegasus, and later parished in an attempt to scale heaven. Phrixus: In Greek legend, son of Athamus and Nephele who, with his sister Helle, escaped his stepmother on a ram with golden fleece. Helle was killed.
Athamus: In Greek legend, king of Thessaly, husband of Nephlene, who seized madness, killing his own son.
Helle: In Green legend, daughter of Nephele and Athamas who, fleeing with her brother Phrixus, on a ram with golden fleece, fell off and was drowned in the straight, thenceforth called Hellespont, or "Sea of Helle."
Aeneas: In Greek and Roman legend, a Trojan son of Anchises and Venus, hero of the Acneid: after the sack of Troy he wandered for seven years before reaching Latium, where he founded the city of Lavillium.
Aeolus: The god of winds. Second Greek legend, a Thessalian king, son of Helen and ancestor of the Aeolians.
Aegis: An attribute to Zeus used in various forms by several other gods, as Athena's goatskin cloak bearing Medusa's head. (2. Any shield or defensive armour. 3. a protecting influence or power; sponsorship; also spelled egis.)
Aegisthus: The lover of Clytemnestra and her accomplice in the murder of Agamemnon.
Aegyptus: King of Egypt; brother of Danaus, whose daughters his sons married. See DANAIDES
Aegeus: A king of Athens, said to be father of Theseus.
Aeetes: King of Colchis, father of Medea, and posessor of the golden fleece.
Aeacus: A son of Zeus and king of Aegina who ruled so justly that after his death he was made a judge of Hades.
Amphitrite: One of the Nereids, who became wife of Poseidon and goddess of the sea.
Odysseus: King of Ithaca, one of the Greek leaders in the Trojan War, figuring in the Iliad and hero of the Odyssey; Ulysses.
Oedipus: The son of Laius and Jocasta, who, abandoned by them at birth because of an oracle and raised by the king of Corinth, eventually returned to Thebes. After guessing the riddle of the sphinx and accidentally killing his father, he unwittingly married his mother and became king of Thebes; discovering his relationship with Jocasta, he blinded himself and died in exile.
Polyphemus: In Homer's Odyssey, the Cyclops who imprisoned Odysseus and his companions in a cave, from which they escaped after blinding him in his sleep.
